Dale Hollow is a large lake on the state border between Kentucky and Tennessee. There are many islands with camping spots, making this a popular place for island hopping. There are several boat ramps and marinas, people arriving from Louisville will most likely launch from the Dale Hollow State Park Marina. The water is very clear, and most of the shoreline is rocky beach, so swimming is a popular way to pass the time.
