Cave Run Lake is a medium sized lake surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest.
Camping
Backcountry camping is permitted. You may need an overnight parking permit depending on where you launch from. Steep banks make it difficult to find a good camping spot. There are also pay campgrounds around the lake.
